Coagulation Tube is used to collect blood sample for medical field,which mainly test blood coagulation function.Such as PT,aPTT,INR,Fibrinogen assays and D-dimer tests so on.

Coagulation Tube has some marked features:

Blue Cap
3.8% or 3.2% Sodium Citrate Solution
PET Tube or Glass Tube
Fill Volume need maintain 2.7ml or 4.5ml
The blood to anticoagulant ratio is 9:1
Inverted slightly 3-4 times after collection

When use the Coagulation Tube,we should notice that insufficient filling of the tube can lead to falsely prolonged clotting time,the collected sample must be in normal condition without hemolysis or coagulation and process within 4 hours at room temperature or centrifuge and freeze.
