Products Description
Here are some tips for using a no-additive tube:
- Clean the venipuncture site with alcohol
- Apply a tourniquet
- Perform venipuncture with the tube stopper uppermost
- Push the tube onto the needle to puncture the stopper diaphragm
- Release the tourniquet when blood appears in the tube
- Remove the tube from the holder when it's filled to the stated volume
- Turn the filled tube upside down and return it to an upright position
- Repeat the inversion according to the additive performance
- Dispose of the needle in a sharps disposal container
