Pro-coagulation tube is a type of test tube that can accelerate blood clotting.It aims to obtain serum specimen ,which is used for biochemistry and immunology tests.
The interior wall is finely coated with coagulant which may promote the blood coagulation after collection.The appropriate amount of coagulant make blood coagulation in a relatively short time,avoiding potential hemolysis problem which caused by too rapid clotting.Finally,transparent serum can be separated after centrifugation.This Pro-coagulation tube does not require any heating facilities (such as a water temperature box), and completely uses pure physical methods to rapidly coagulate blood.
Specimen preparation:
- Immediately invert and mix 8 times after blood collection
- Let it stand for 15 to 20 minutes and then centrifuge
- Ensure that the centrifugal environment temperature is above 16 ℃
