ESR Tube is mainly used for Erythrocyte Sedimentation rate test,it contains buffered Sodium with the concentration of 3.8%(0.129mol/L)3.2%(0.109mol/L).The mixing ratio of blood to Sodium citrate is 4:1.It is suitable for the ESR tests for subjects of different gender and ages,with highly related coefficient comparing with the westertren method.ESR Tube is specially used in blood collection and anticoagulation for Automated Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate Analyzers sedimentation rate test with the mixing ratio of sodium citrate and blood is 1:4. Due to little volume and negative pressure inside the tube, it needs some time for blood collection. Wait until blood stops flowing into the tube. Then completely mix the anticoagulation and additiveby turning the tube upside down for 6-8 times, Inappropriate mixing will cause hemolysis, coagulation or blood bubble and influence the test result.
