ESR Tube is mainly used for Erythrocyte Sedimentation rate test,it contains buffered Sodium with the concentration of
3.8%(0.129mol/L)3.2%(0.109mol/L).The mixing ratio of blood to Sodium citrate is 4:1.It is suitable for the ESR tests for subjects of different gender and ages,with highly related coefficient comparing with the western method.
The slender ESR tube is a disposable medical consumable designed specifically for Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) testing. Made of glass highly transparent, it features a slender body with clear, accurate graduations. The tube is pre-filled with 3.2% (0.109 mol/L) sodium citrate anticoagulant, mixed with blood at a precise 1:4 ratio, fully complying with the Westergren method recommended by the International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH). The standard specification is 1.28 mL (0.4 mL anticoagulant + 0.88 mL blood), with a 0–200 mm graduated scale printed along the tube.
