Preparatory work

• Ensure that the oxygen cylinder or oxygen supply equipment is opened and working properly, and adjust the appropriate oxygen flow rate. Generally, the oxygen flow rate for adults is 2-4 liters/minute, and children are appropriately adjusted according to factors such as age and illness, usually at 1-3 liters/minute.

• Check that the oxygen mask is intact, free of cracks or breakage, and clean.

Wearing procedure

• Allow the user to take a comfortable position, usually half lying or sitting.

• Hold the mask and gently cover the user's mouth and nose. Make sure the edges of the mask fit tightly to your face to prevent oxygen leakage. For children, it may be necessary to help adjust the position so that the child feels comfortable and breathing smoothly.

• Adjust the headband (if any) and secure the mask. The headband should not be too tight to avoid causing discomfort to the user, but should not be too loose to cause the mask to shift.

In use

• Continuously monitor the user's breathing, facial appearance, and mental state.

• Pay attention to whether the oxygen mask is shifted or loose, and adjust it in time if necessary.

End of use

• When the use of oxygen masks is not required, first turn off the oxygen source of the oxygen supply equipment.

• Gently remove the oxygen mask, clean and store the mask properly for next use.

In the process of using the oxygen mask, if the user has increased breathing difficulties, skin cyanosis and other abnormal conditions, to call medical personnel in time.
