Product introduction
The scalp Vein Set is a disposable sterile butterfly-type intravenous infusion needle. It was originally mainly used for intravenous puncture of the scalp veins in infants and young children, and is commonly known as the scalp needle. It is also used in clinical settings for short-term intravenous infusion and blood collection for medication administration, and is widely applied in pediatric departments, wards, and emergency departments of hospitals. It is sterilized by ethylene oxide, used once only, is sterile and free of pyrogens, and eliminates the risk of cross-infection.

Component composition
It consists of a needle, butterfly wing (needle handle), a transparent tube, Luer lock or Luer Slip Connector
- Needle: Medical stainless steel, with three-sided beveled needle tip, silicone oil lubrication, low puncture pain and sensitive blood return
- Butterfly wing: Medical plastic, easy to hold and operate, adhesive tape fixation, ISO standard color coding, different G sizes correspond to different colors, for quick specification identification.
- Tube: Medical transparent PVC Tube, soft and resistant to bending, allowing for clear observation of blood return and bubbles
- Connector: Standard interface, compatible with infusion sets and syringes, secure connection without leakage
Scope of Application
It is used in conjunction with infusion sets and syringes for peripheral venous infusion, medication administration, and blood collection in humans. It is particularly suitable for short-term intravenous treatments of infants, the elderly, and patients with poor vascular conditions.

Sterilization method: Ethylene Oxide (EO) sterilization
Expiry date: 5 years
Storage: In a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight. It is for single use only and must not be reused.
