Scalp Vein set From 20Gauge to 25Gauge is a special tool that helps take blood from a vein and give medicines or intravenous (I.V.) treatment. It has a tiny, thin needle, two bendy "wings" that look like a butterfly's wings, soft clear tubing, and a connecting piece. This connecting piece links to other tools-like a vacuum tube or collection bag for gathering blood, or to extra tubing from an infusion pump or IV bag to send medicines and fluids.
