EDTA K2 is spray-dried and causes minimal dilution of the blood sample, making it ideal for accurate hematology tests such as CBC.

EDTA K3 is usually in liquid form and may cause slight dilution, which can affect certain test results.
For best precision and preservation of blood cell morphology, K2 EDTA is preferred in most modern laboratories.
