(2) Collection time: In order to ensure that the specimens in the disposable virus sampling tube can be sent to the laboratory as soon as possible after collection, in principle, the sampling is arranged during the daytime working hours, and the director of the laboratory should be notified before the collection to make relevant preparations for reception.
(3) Specimen collection technology and protection requirements in the virus sampling tube:
1. Personnel engaged in the collection of specimens for the detection of new coronaviruses should be qualified through biosafety training and sampling technology training.
2. Requirements for professional protective equipment for sampling personnel: N95 mouthpieces, goggles, protective clothing, isolation gowns, double-layer latex gloves, and shoe covers.
